Well, PMI has now released it’s 2024 annual report which shows that its #cigaretteshipments have in fact increased since 2023 - hardly what would be expected of a company transforming away from combustibles! 🚭

"PMI's 2025 target was not 'aspirational' but highly conservative - it would have been met based on pre-existing trends in declining cigarette shipments."

For a #tobaccocompany to truly become ‘smoke-free’, it would need to stop producing, shipping & selling cigarettes.
