D-IWMS is a Hispano HA-200D Saeta. This restored aircraft is operated by the Messerschmitt Stiftung at Manching in Bavaria, Germany. As such, the project is supported by Airbus that has a large site at Manching for various purposes, such as assembling Eurofighters and overhauling several types of military aircraft.

Hispano HA-200D Saeta D-IWMS of the Messerschmitt Stiftung passes the tower at Manching Airport from where this historic jet is operated, supported by Airbus. The Saeta prototype made its first flight in 1955.
