I have a strange beg for #ClassicsSky : in Aeschylus' Persians around line 988 Xerxes uses a word for "longing/yearning" that Deborah H Roberts' footnote 55 says is a particular type of yearning connected to the bird used in love spells and I cannot figure out what this word is. Does anyone know?
