Born 10 Feb 1944, Clifford T. Ward, UK singer/songwriter who had the 1973 UK No.8 single 'Gaye' which was taken from his album 'Home Thoughts'. In the early 70s he was an English teacher & taught English to my wife's sister in Bromsgrove. He died on the 18th Dec 2001, aged just 57. #CliffordTWard

18 Dec 2001 saw the passing of singer/songwriter Clifford T Ward, who'd had hits in the 1970s with "Gaye" and "Scullery". His album "Home Thoughts" made no 40 in the album chart in 1973. He taught my wife's sister while he was a teacher at North Bromsgrove School. He died aged 57. #CliffordTWard
