To the right a woman stands at a podium with a sign for CNS 2026 Vancouver. To the left is her slide deck. She is presenting on how early-career neuroscientists can reconnect with community members by writing op-eds to help build resistance and resilience in the face of science funding crises.

Just wrapped up an inspiring few days at #CNS2026. It was very rewarding to present my work here (my first Data Blitz presentation!) and to connect with other people also working on speech processing and social interaction. Lots of ideas to take home!

Had a great time presenting at #CNS2026 in Vancouver! We showed that parent-child brain structural similarity carries opposing regulatory channels, one amplifies family environment effects, one buffers them. Grateful for all the feedback and new connections! #Neuroscience

To close the symposium, Regina Lapate extends the story past shock+picture lab pairings and into real life events: how our emotions influence the way we remember the timeline of our autobiographical memories.

Fascinating and very carefully conducted work into emotion-memory-time dynamics!
