While listening to #ToTheWhiteSea pod, it dawned on me damn near every #CoenBros movie is a period piece… exceptions seem to be #BloodSimple (feels like 70s), #BurnAfterReading (feels like 90s), #IntolerableCruelty (feels like 80s) and #RaisingArizona the only one that feels like its release year.

Rewatched the #CoenBros film 'Inside Llewyn Davis' earlier.

Its an odd movie about a week in the life of a 60s folk singer (Oscar Isaac) in NY.

This gem is worth sharing...

#TheBigLebowski turns 27 today! It’s my 2nd favorite #CoenBros flick, though it’s the one I’ve seen the most. I love the loads of crazy characters that eventually replace the plot as the focal point, not unlike one of its main influences, #HowardHawks’ #TheBigSleep from 1946.
