Bridger Jack Spires is located just to the southeast of Canyonlands Needles District. Framed at sunrise by this pinyon tree, the Spires are bathed in the warm light of morning. Places like this lie just off the beaten path and yet are every bit as photo worthy as, say, Mesa Arch or Delicate Arch.

White Pocket, located on the Arizona-Utah border, is a panoply of colors mixed in folds of ancient molten rock.
