Meredith Baxter Birney-is an American actress and producer. She is known for her roles on the CBS sitcom Bridget Loves Bernie, ABC drama series Family and the NBC sitcom Family Ties...in which she played the Mom to a very young talented actor who would go onto to make the incredible film "Back to the Future"-Michael J. Fox.
