The ART of comics also can be incredibly useful and powerful as a political organizing tool. We've seen that with @comixaction.com's #Comics4Liam campaign and the #ICEoutComics and the @stopproject25comic.bsky.social. So I try to help with projects like that whenever I can.

project of inviting artists to create art that could bring comfort or joy for Liam made me want to join in this. I’m really glad he’s home and safe with his family. And I hope he sees all the amazing artworks and that it brought a smile to him.

Comic artist Greg Pak and a New York-based community organization called Comix Action started the online #Comics4Liam campaign, calling on comics creators from around the world to “create artwork with Liam in mind,” as well as other children that ICE has impacted.
