Once, many years ago, a witch fell in love with a young prince who did not return her affection. Scorned, she cast a curse on him, which turned him into a gruesome beast on the night of his first rut. He was sentenced to remain a lust-driven monster until he successfully mated with an omega and planted a child in its womb. Horrified by the beast he’d become, the young prince isolated himself in a castle deep in the woods. Stories of the beast, who was known only by the name Deku, traveled far and wide. Children were warned not to stay out too late or wander into the forest, lest Deku snatch them up and keep them as his plaything. On quiet nights, when the moon hung bright over the woods, it was said you could hear his mournful howls.
