#Convolvulusarvensis, a bind to everyone except insects ..

Personally, I hate its common name, much preferring the old obsolete ones like "Small-flowered Morning Glory" or "Possession Vine", the latter giving it the kudos of owning something.

made far more common since the birth of farming as it thrives in cultivated soil. 75+% of UK land is cultivated and this beauty is much more maligned but ONLY by us.

Field bindweed, Convolvulus arvensis. Not as vigorous or tall as the larger hedge bindweed but I don’t think I’d plant it in my own garden even though I think it’s really pretty!
