Finally finished this piece! Thought it would make a nice book cover, while I was at it! Working on this #illustration reminded me of steps and tricks in my workflow I had forgotten about. More a learning experience than I expected but I still like how this came out!

A digital illustration in mostly green tones, featuring a skull on the ground of a hallway with greenery sprouting from it's eye sockets and mouth. Roots emerge from the mouth and have grown in a grid pattern into the gaps between the tiles of the floor. Some of them creep off to the right into the ajar doorway beyond the skull. Yellow light spills from the crack. The greenery grows into stylised swirling shapes and includes both purple hydrangeas and pink camellia flowers, as well as multiple red pills dotted through it. There is a bee sat on one of the hydrangeas, and another on the skull itself.
