The 'Devil Crab' (Zosimus aeneus) is incredibly poisonous.
Its body contains neurotoxins Tetrodotoxin (more commonly known from the pufferfish) & Saxitoxin (the culprit in paralytic shellfish poisoning) in high concentrations which it accumulates via the algae it eats.

Nana Watanabe; a textilesmith who crafts JAW-dropping, 3-D sea-creatures ENTIRELY from fabric. This gorgeous neckpiece of bluish-red Dungeness crabs shows the intricate stitchwork on each individual carapace that is the hallmark of their work.

The UMBRELLA CRAB, Cryptolithodes sitchenchis, a type of sponge crab. 🦀
The flattened, shield-like body covers almost the entire crab, hiding its legs and soft parts. Instead of relying on speed or strong claws, it relies on disguise.

closeup of the adorably serious face and raised claws resembling the “what do you want” Italian hand gesture - expecting lots of “Italian crab” jokes as a result LOL

Yeti Crabs (actually Squat Lobsters) live near hydrothermal vents, an environment few animals can handle.
There's not a lot to eat so the crabs wave specially evolved bristle-covered arms in the nutrient rich water to encourage growth of bacteria ON THEMSELVES which they eat.

They were made by #Balloon artist Masayoshi Matsumoto in 2020. Incredible skill, and they also make other insects and animals of every kind.
