Does anyone have advice for making paper clay? I've started a batch but it's horrifically sticky... It also refuses to stick to my armatures.
Used toilet paper, joint compound, water, flour, and wood glue.
This is the first time I've done this.

I have this idea for a take on a Hobbit wreath. The attached stuff I know would be doable, but would the tree be doable? If so, I'm assuming the left side would have to be equally as weighty to avoid shifting while hanging. And the tree may need a backing...
