I think Creatation would have “shinies” in some capacity, but ideally I’d want them to function somewhat differently. At the very least, a different name, whatever that may be. Shiny hunting is fun and I wanna do it with my own guys!!!

I had designed Torchit, Codrake, and Snoflok’s lines to be like ‘secondary’ starters. Easy to grab fire/water/ice types found in early places (caves, water, and the sky) that you could use in place of the starters you didn’t pick. Weaker, but they have their uses!!

Then, different Torchit may have different Phenotype properties. Some might burn enemies to the touch, some might be more resistant to Water, etc.

In hotter, more arid parts of the Creatation world, you may find Savannas - the sun beating down on the fields of grass, the rocky plateaus, and the sparse Acacia trees makes this a good spot for a lot of larger, tougher Creatatures.
