A pair of well-loved socks in the midst of being mended. They were originally white with grey accents but have been darned with so many different colors of crewel wool that they are largely a patchwork of pink—both shell and magenta—blue, and green.

So much handspun embroidery thread! I did 2 ounces this time and it made alot more then I thought it would! This is now washed and hanging to dry, then it will be divided up and dyed.
