Crowthorne One-Place Study.
Image: Photo of a residential street built in the 1930s. The road runs at a slight diagonal from the foreground towards the right side of the image; there are footpaths on both sides but it only on the the left side of the road that we can see the two-storey houses, in a variety of styles, behind their front gardens and driveways. Garden hedges are much in evidence, and beyond the end of the road, trees can be seen.
One-Place Studies, where family history and local history unite.
Earlier I teased a newly-registered #OnePlaceStudy, so here it is! Lesley Ann Gentry is researching #Crowthorne in #Berkshire from 1800 to the present, and has a private Facebook Group 'Crowthorne Remembered' with 3.7K members. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1415254592057300/ #OnePlaceWednesday
