A bunch of flags I designed for my fiction Country "Grail" Going from oldest to newest flags 10th-14th Centuries - the Norse raven banner 14th-18th Centuries - Gralic Culture Flag - after the Norse have died out, a new population resides in northern Greenland 1776-1900 - Gralic Territory Flag - in 1776, Denmark-Norway gets claimed control over all of Greenland, having official claim over the land but not having done anything with it yet 1900-1931 - Gral Flag - after Denmark-Norway seizes the territory and takes actual control, Gralic Territory comes under Denmark-Norway rule 1931-1933 - Gral Flag 2 - after a while, Norway and Denmark split, with Gral going under Norway's control 1933-1952 - Gral Flag 3 - after Denmark drives the last of Norwegian power out of Greenland, Denmark takes control over Gral, where it stays until World War II 1942-1945 - US Territory of Grail - during WWII, the US gains control over Greenland temporarily, as Denmark has been taken over by the Nazis, the US also ended up renaming Gral to Grail, as it was easier to pronounce 1945-1980 - Grail - after Greenland is returned to Denmark, Grail is officially recognized as Grail, the change made under the US rule 1980-2002 - The Resistance Of Grail - After a while back under Denmark's rule, Grail wishes to become its own nation, made easier by the division of Greenland Territories into separate provinces, where Grail attempts to fight for their independence from Denmark, this goes on for 22 years 2002-Present - Grail Flag 2 - in 2002, Grail finally was given their independence recognized by the EU, they immediately started work on forming their new nation with a brand new flag made just for them Then there are extra flags that I don't have enough characters to explain in alt text Sorry I'll explain one of them tho 1942-1943 - The Grail Nazi Party - Under the US rule, a small uprising attempted to gain independence away from the US by starting a small Nazi party that died shortly after starting
