On the left, his left foot thrown over the knee of his right, sits a reclined Jude, his cheek pressed to Lynn's head. His right elbow rests on the back of the couch, his left hand holding a small stack of documents. On the right, her head leaned back against Jude's shoulder, rests Lynn (MC) in her nightgown, a still-wet quill held loosely in her left hand. Just a little off-screen, on the table I accidentally only had in-sketch, lays stacks of a night's worth of documents. And between the pages of one such stack is a little pressed-clover bookmark. Its size small and its presence important.
A long night, a restful dawn. Clung to by grief, held together by affection.
Basically, I'm really liking the currently running Haunted House event. I always have been weak for children and genuine comfort.
