Houses at the bottom of the shot are silhouetted against clouds glowing orange with the tail end of sunset as lighting strikes in the distance. Dark clouds at the top of the image are backlit by a band of clouds lit bluish white by several horizontal lightning bolts.
Six 30-second exposures combined. I'd forgotten all about this one until going through my Flickr archives for this photo-a-day project. Nice when I can surprise myself like this.
