A daylong visit to San Francisco's #DeYoungMuseum of Fine Arts in 2014 yielded this irresistible capture of a dark and vacant reception gallery.

I went to the #DeYoungMuseum in #SanFrancico and in a little corner of the middle eastern rug exhibit was a selection of samplers of various kinds of needlework. They were exquisite. The one pictured was made by a young Scottish woman in the 1880s. #FiberArt #Textiles #WomensArt
