OK, I think I figured out the Redirector Firefox extension.
Overview: It should redirect any Bluesky link, opening it via deer.social (which doesn't require an ID).

something I want from #deersocial is to let me post things longer than 300 characters. ideally when it goes to post it would truncate by word, have an extension field/record that Deer knows how to view, and put in a link card to it so regular Bsky users can expand & read it.
Bluesky with deer.social's reposts carousel taking up the full width of the page, showing more posts at once. The sidebars are moved to the sides to make room for the carousel.
I've made a UserStyle for deer.social that makes the reposts carousel full-width !

Hmm… custom "verification" feature in deer.social seems to be broken at the moment.
- if turned on, all official checkmarks disappear
- if on, "verify this" in menu don't show up, only "trust verifier" is available
- if turned off, all official checkmarks appear
