An insect perched on a yellow and white daisy-like flower. It superficially resembles a worker bee and has a delicate sphere of water hanging from its mouth. The eyes are huge in relation to it's head and reddish-brown.

Delia radicum (cabbage root fly) perched on a daisy, playing with a sphere of water, which shrinks and grows whilst the photos are being taken. The insect is estimated to be about 5 mm long including wings.
