Normally most of my kungfu skills are focused on tea but at #detroitchinaday I got a chance to switch roles w the incredibly impressive martial artist and scientist Alice Yin - admittedly my Chinese opera studies included a lot of martial arts, it was mostly the pretty kind and not the deadly kind 🤣

Hosting the inaugural Detroit China Day was such a privilege and an honor — can’t wait for next year!

And yes, I also did a Peking opera version of Eminem’s Lose Yourself. Because how could I not?
