The open grind chamber of my DF64 Gen2 espresso grinder completely blocked and clogged by coffee grounds.

Well, that was one shitty #coffee!
Bough another kilogram of affordable supermarket coffee to finish seasoning the burrs of my #DF64 Gen2 grinder with a total of 2,5kg. Which is a compromise between food waste and necessity.

But somehow those beans instantly clogged up my grinder so badly, to ...

Mods:
- 3rd printed, magnetic stand for my Weber blind shaker
- 3rd printed vernier scales, which makes dialing in my shots for much more convenient then the stock dial indicator

The open grind chamber of a DF64 Gen2 espresso grinder only vacuumed out quickly It's quite clean, given the fact that 1,5kg of coffee was just ground with it

What I find amazing, especially compared to the #DF64 Gen1, which was notoriously messy and had problems with static build up (I still like it), the DF64 Gen2 is sooo much cleaner.
Which is thanks to the redesigned burr chamber and an ion generator in the exit chute, which helps to break static..

A DF64 Gen 2 espresso grinder is in the process of being aligned. It's sitting on a table in a slightly chaotic setup of aluminum foil, dry markers, scissors, torque wrench, dial indicator and some other tools lying around.

Finally got my new #DF64 Gen 2 espresso grinder and then my little tiger Kuraiko took on the task of aligning the burrs (sorry for the mess).
When we checked, the burrs were misaligned (most burrs are), which was partially due to the fact that the screws were too tight, which slightly warped...
