😀 I remember starting with the @wildflowerhour.bsky.social #dinkymoira guide a few years ago, and I still use that now.
The #sepals & sepal appendeges are key ID features in the #Violets , as outlined in the excellent #DinkyMoira #wildflowerhour ID guide. This species has blunt sepals & sepal apendages appressed to the stem = Hairy Violet, Viola hirta.

Early for #wildFlowerHour #sepals - thanks to @naturelark.bsky.social for #dinkymoira tips - common dog violets in our lawn (well misnomer, as the dog destroys the grass!) and cowslips found on our dog walk (the sepals in cowslips are a tube or calyx, but close enough?)
I use your #dinkymoira guides all the time - they are so helpful and accessible!
I am hoping we can get the report out soon. It is currently in the hands of graphic designers and illustrators, whose skill at bringing life to my prosaic words blows me away on a daily basis!

Hairy bittercress, purely based on seed pods upright (kind of 5 to 1). I'll bring a hand lens next time to check how many stamens.
