My conclusion has to be AI is not about 'customer care' but about 'customer neglect'. My package will not be delivered today and the chatbot will not put me through to a person who can go to the package and ensure it ends up in a van #DPDUK
Here is my experience with #DPDUK about a parcel delivery....
It started with me postponing the delivery from Friday until Saturday.
This is what their register shows me:
We have technology
We have AI
We also have outdated contracts which are woefully inefficient.
Posting from London to Perth, needs to go through Sydney first even though there are a myriad of daily Perth flights....

Free #UX consultancy for #Amazon and #DPDUK if I’m sending a gift please let me put a tick in a box so I don’t get messages about the delivery. Instead person getting the delivery gets the messages you have their phone number in my address book.

Has anyone ever been able to talk to a real person at #DPDUK? Can't do it by chat, WhatsApp, phone, or their 'contact page' which somehow seems unable to send the email I write. I could have fixed this 2 hours ago with a real person. I'm seething.
