Tried something I'd never done before: Wrote down all important hints given by NPCs. Used an unmarked world map from the internet. And then marked it. Place names, and even my entire route. (black lines are warp routes). It was fun! 😊

I did it!!!
The Prince of Midenhall can now start the battle with this.
300+ kills and over 500k gold I got them finally. These foes you need to Steal Sickle to get the War Drums.
Three days later, I've did it!!!
The War Drums are mine and I just need to go farm these bloody Liquid Metal Slimes for the Falcon Sword of Ruin. Finally!!!

Took a break for getting 100% on Grand Bazaar to play Dragon Quest 2 remake. Love the addition of more party dialogue. I feel that we are on a quest with stakes. It as well cool to see how builders 2 connects to events. Overall a great game that took about 40 hours.
