Front of the loom this time. More than half of the individual threads are ties in bundles and draped over the shafts waiting to be threaded. The rest are threaded and tied into bundles for the next step. This is the slow part

There were 500 hundred threads. Tied in neat bundles. I took one and put through the eye and then I started again…

Don’t ask me. It’s been a long day and this is my idea of a break. At least it’s only plain weave threading. #weaving #8shaftloom #dressingtheloom
