Not my photo! Photographer is TheOldKid @the-old-kid.bsky.social I have not been able to get a photo of the amazing red bellied woodpecker by my woods. He is an incredible male like the one you see in the photo except his crest is on a whole 'nother level... like supermodel level. Every morning and sometimes in the evening he visits the same hollowed out tree and for a few minutes every 26 seconds does a repetitive 7-11 stroke drumbeat. This morning I connected the pattern to the Earth's heartbeat and that just made me feel so good inside... I want to take this to my meditation practice and am excited to see what it will bring. Be well and kind to each other, may today bless you in all good things and in turn may you share goodness outwards 🙏LBV💯
