Feeling a bit under the weather today so took a break from coding to play with #blender 🍄
Meet my funky fungal trio

Shroomper (derpy one)
Doomstool (small but menacing)
Blight Baron (big bad)

Rough around the edges but these fun-guys are growing on me! 🎮

Playing with #shaders today for battle transition.

Realy need to learn a lot still but got something done.

Now have 2 options like them both. The second one is a bit more versatile because i can use a black/white image to change effect.

Yes this is still #dungeondining. Just for this(and future) functionality i made a simple test scene playground.

Today detection by enemies.

white=unaware
yellow=noticed
orange=danger zone (stay to long and battle)
red=insta battle.

Happy to got area of view working

So will keep "Send Dave to hell" on ice🥶, Voting in "fun" was not a success😵‍💫.

But time to come back to my main project, with he task i keep dreading, the big refactor of #dungeondining.

Moving from gdscript to c#, daunting task😅 only touched a few files so far

So stream done, and that was also the end of my days off. Unfortunately will be able to do less. But at least i could finish

It is a lot of playing around last few posts, But i am enjoying using stuff i have not used yet in #godot #godotengine.

Today particles 🔥 🔥🔥(thanks to @kenney.bsky.social for the particle texture) for fire, also add a flickering omni light

You know, i really admire the people that make #devlogs on youtube. I have been trying to make one this weekend for #dungeondining without success.

When i don't have a million of uhms i swallow my words. I guess is hard talking to a screen🤷‍♂️.

💻 Another dev day - did some code + texturing/modeling
(mostly the latter because I'm procrastinating on figuring out the combat system 😅)

Sometimes i actually need to think before doing the "ehh sounds right" Working on the base progression. I'm like you need 100 sounds right for first lvlup. But calculating it shows to do first lvl up its a min of 4,5 hours. While meant as introduction

That's better they come for milkshakes and burgers not to get ironclad abs. Those silly buggers do need to learn how to walk sometimes. Navmesh needs some tweaking.

Day 3 of replacing procedural textures with hand drawn ones. Using a mix of #blender, #krita and #armorpaint and of course #godot #godotengine. So far happy with the improvements. I do feel like there is a red hue in the scene which i need to solve.
