#Wayland runs successfully on more things than I think some might realize. For example, I successfully got this #BananaPi set up with #SlackwareARM 15.0, and got my favorite #wlroots compositor, #dwl.

A screenshot of my dwl install on Slackware, complete with real-time status in the dwlb bar, and an obligatory fastfetch.

Playing around with #Wayland, it seems pretty cool. I'm still trying to unlearn some of the #X11-isms, but I managed to get real-time clock and battery updates here on #dwl.

It especially helped that I patched dwl to use IPC.
