So very sad to see our chalk #southdowns #eastofBrighton left to carry thirsty & fertiliser-hungry crops when they could could be amazingly beautiful & bio-rich grasslands for nature and humans!
What an utter waste @Brighton-Hove.gov.uk in our nature-depleted land!

Seeing two of our #Red-listed members of the #buntings today was a treat in the rolling mono-croplands & over-grazed horse paddocks #eastofBrighton.
#CornBunting & #Yellowhammer were flying in mixed flocks when they finally landed in some Elder scrub a little beyond the capacity of my lens 🙄 #birds
