Last month I presented #ECTE2025 a study from the #PANTROP project (pantrop-eu.com) on growth form replacement in early succession. The succes of natural forest recovery is not only determined by the arrival or regrowth of trees, but also the competition with growth forms such as grasses and ferns.
Just returned from Amsterdam, where I presented my poster at #ECTE2025! 🌿🏝️ It showcases part of my PhD research: 10 years of monitoring cavity-nesting #Hymenoptera in SE China and their multitrophic interactions. Great to share and discuss science! @multitroph.bsky.social

After a great talk about spiders from PNG I moved to another very good one about spider monkeys in Equator. The later won the prize for the best oral presentation. Congrats. That diversity of topics and presenters is why we love #ECTE2025 @soctropecol.bsky.social
