"Long-snouted wavekin said to have evolved from the Peiste, according to some scholarly circles. The Sahagin have domesticated them and other species native to the Indigo Deep for underwater hunting and transport of goods. Possessing a deadly bite, they can also regurgitate water bombs from their throats. An icy variant of the Elbst seen in cold climates is the Tursus. Unlike their regular counterparts, they cannot be tamed and are more aggressive and territorial in the icy wilderness they call home."

A gpose of the cavalry elbst mount colored like the special 2014 Moonfire Faire quest elbst. It has orange and cream patches on its scales, similar to a koi fish. Its fins are blue.
