It's the type where a dowel holds the fabric, that I need, rather than sewing the fabric onto webbing. There are lots of those "traditional slate frames" available but I prefer the dowel system

A hardwood Walnut Frame surrounds a modern embroidery of a Magnolia blossom. The frame has a series of ogee curves on the top to form a “Spanish Arch”.

This one’s special.

This walnut frame is based on an arched doorway in Barcelona… so cool I brought a little nugget of the idea home with me. Magnolia embroidery by @rabbithatdesigns. Chef’s kiss!
