The short-lived 'reign' of #EmpressMatilda as #LadyOfTheEnglish came to an end. Theoretically entitled to be called Queen, she was never crowned. Her marriage to the Holy Roman Emperor earned her the title of Empress. This period of civil war in England is called #TheAnarchy.
