The Cowboy flinched at the sound of Kano’s voice, layered between pained sobs and the desperation for it all to end. Stepping over the bloodied form of his mirror image towards the door at the end of the hall, breathing muffled tight behind the leather mask. Erron’s eyes never left, slinking himself back, away, finding himself leaned against one of the fallen mercenaries as his mangled arm fell. An unharmed hand digging aimlessly for something, a gun, a knife, anything that he could toss at his younger self. To finally set his soul free.
