Facing the Atlantic the nearest land is North America. The winter storms here are monumental and their power has plucked huge ignimbrite boulders from the cliff and thrown them over 50m inland to form a boulder field. This shot is taken facing the sea I'm standing about 30m from the edge of the cliff

This shot is taken with my back to the sea (about 5m above sea level), in the distance you can see the boulders that the sea has moved.
