#esteemqotd esteem is VERY involved in its kingdom affairs. she does delegate, but does so very carefully and only gives positions and tasks to people she really trusts to do the job. it's honestly kind of a control freak lol

esteem is a pretty proud person in general - its proud of its management skills and its ability to find the right person for the job. but it takes a lot of joy and pride in its gardening skills, of all things. the palace gardens are meticulously maintained by herself.

esteem doesn't sleep on regular pillows - her horns get in the way too much. she uses a wooden neck pillow/headrest instead. that said, she does have a rather large bed, furnished with regular pillows for guests :^)
it's a six hours of sleep kinda guy. (not enough imo!!)

esteem uses a lot of crowd control type spells, but its signature is definitely chains of light. when she casts it, this spell manifests as golden vines of light that grow around an enemy, rendering them unable to move.

esteem is actually from the stolen lands - silverstep to be specific. she lived most of her life there, but after being chased out she ended up as a merchant in restov for a couple of years. esteem is quite spiteful to the people of its former home, but regards silverstep itself fondly.

esteem is lowkey obsessed with strawberries - its favourite dessert made from them is a strawberry and lemon roulade (made with ingredients from its garden, of course.) the dish gives esteem +5 persuasion (intimidation) because if you try to take some off its plate it will kill you.

esteem is from silverstep, and was chased out of its village with pitchforks after being blamed for misfortune due to its heritage. when it caught wind of jamandi's quest, the thought of ruling the lands it had been chased out of came forth, and it signed up straight away.
