The portrait felt Shrekish, so I replaced the green with a contrasting fabric. I like this version, but a friend preferred Shrek. Reminder: someone will like your art even when you don't!

I made this fabric portrait last month in a class. I used all batiks and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Now to quilt and bind it, and send it off to my dad, who admired this photo extravagantly.
