Escaped the phrawg den and went out for a hop this morning!
Breaking in some new hoppers in the process of achieving a 5k Garmin badge was a wonderful way to begin Saturday! They performed well for my first decent hop in them!

I got a new watch, the @garminuk.bsky.social #Forerunner570. It tracks wrist HR much better than my old #Fenix5. My resting HR was 43/42 on my old watch, 36 on my new!
36 is more accurate, according to my nurse wife who sometimes checks my HR when I’m sleeping 🤣
570 is a great watch!!
