Trapped in an endless cycle of death and giving birth to his-herself. The black, eye-horned Omens are all secondary aspects, waylaid humans lost in the Wheeling Forest who attempted to prolong their lives by molding their desires to whatever Lay could provide of them. Locked in his-her closes loop, Lay could give them nothing he-she couldn't provide.
