Jimmy Kimmel is looking for #RifedFeds! We are again planning to spotlight former federal workers here on Jimmy Kimmel Live. We want to hire some former federal workers for a day and pay them to deliver/read monologue jokes, and/or do other things such as sit in with the band or be the show 'bartender', for example. We did a similar thing during the shutdown in 2019. Obviously, we’d much prefer it if everyone could get back to their actual important work they trained for, but in the meantime, we would love to spotlight some hard-working people and bring attention to the issue. To be eligible, you must have been either ‘fired’ or RIF’d from your federal position this year (2025), and no longer receiving pay or benefits from the US gov’t. EMDR is awesome. So are the right meds. I've been in therapy off and on. These days it's walks, painting miniatures, playing the banjo - the small set of activities that can get my brain into a relaxed flow state.
