The Dutch Fishtail A technique that uses thin and thick strands to create a stunning fishtail/herringbone effect with hair. This starts by dividing the hair from your chosen starting point into 2 sections. From there, a strand from the top of the outside edge is brought behind/under the section you’re taking the strand from and into the inside of the opposite section. To create the plait - Repeat moving your top outside strands under its section to the inside of the opposite section and continue til you run out of hair to add. This essentially creates the plait. To create the braid - Bring hair from the hairline or parting back to the top outside strand, combine, weaving all under the section and into the inside of the opposite section. Alternate sides as you braid down the hair till you run out of hair from the hairline to add, then continue with the plait.
