Again, I'm in a better situation than some certainly are, but multiply my predicament by however many thousands of passengers affected and the time/labor airline employees have to expend to help folks get where they need to be and it's obviously a giant AVOIDABLE mess #faa #flightcancelation

Luckily, desk agent was able to get me on another flight 8hrs later, which will cause some issues with airport pickup/childcare, but I'm luckier than some. But from talking to them, it seems like flight cancelations were probably decided yesterday #faa #flightcancelation

Got to the airport a little bit ago, opened the app to pull up my boarding pass and got the message that my flight was canceled. Mind you, they'd sent a message saying "we look forward to welcoming you aboard" about an hour before, when I was getting ready to leave my hotel #faa #flightcancelation
