There is only one Shaman in each tribe. The current Shaman receives a vision of who will become the next leader of the tribe from the spirits of the Moon and the Sun themselves. Or the choice is made in the process of joint meditation of the entire tribe, if the previous Shaman died without choosing an apprentice.
A representative of any other class in the tribe can be elected to this position. Their task is to lead the tribe in difficult times. Some Shamans rely more on their own conclusions, others on a close connection with the spirits.
In times of no crisis, they often do the work of the class to which they belonged before being elected.
Despite their name, the Guardians are the fangs andclaws of the tribe. Their patron is the Sun.
Flions have to deal with many predators and other animals that are much larger than them. Guardians are those who are passionate about protecting their fellow tribesmen, unfortunately, deaths during unequal battles are not uncommon among them.
However, this is not the only thing they do. In calmer times, Guardians can perform work that requires strength and endurance, such as blowing up a fire in a forge or moving millstones. They also hunt and fish.
Masters are the heart and life of the tribe. The Moon is considered their patron.
Masters include all Flions whose occupation is not related to weapons or healing, which makes this class the most numerous in any tribe. They provide all the internal life of the community: making tools and weapons, cooking, construction, art, forays to collect fruits and useful plants, caring for sprouts. Masters hold all aspects of peaceful life on their shoulders.
However, those Masters who have to go beyond the walls of the community undergo a basic course in weapon mastery, so as not to be left completely defenseless if their group loses all the Guardians.
Being a Healer is a rare talent, and not everyone can master this skill. It is believed that both the Moon and the Sun favor them.
Flinos believe that in order to learn to be a Healer, you need to be able to sense the life force, both in your fellow tribesmen and in the surrounding plants and minerals. This helps to choose the right treatment, especially if a new disease appears.
Due to their small numbers, Healers almost never leave the settlement, but this does not make their life safe. Instead of fighting predators, they fight diseases that they themselves can become infected with, heal injuries, take care of the weakened, sometimes spending days without sleep and rest at the beds of the sick.
