@thelinuxcast I forgot about the 2015 iMac 5K I was gifted. It currently has a Skylake chip and 24 gigs of ram. Currently it is running Debian 13 with Gnome on an external SSD.
So far it has been chuggin' along fine. It does well with Floorp and Youtube.

Decided to switch to #Floorp as my main browser.
#Vivaldi continues to have profile issues when I switch between #Plasma and #XFCE, losing my logged in profile data along with cookies & logins, which is very irritating.
Firefox had no such issue, so I installed Floorp it and works like a charm.

In the test we have Firefox, Floorp, Zen, Vivaldi, Brave, and Mullvad.
Each was run in a private window to disable add-ons etc.

Well damn. Looks like #Floorp is set to include #AI in the future. Even if it's opt-in, I think I might need to go elsewhere.
I've got #Vivaldi as a #Chromium option, and they're #NoAI which is good.
I think #Zen has AI shut off by default. And it appears that #Waterfox is safe from AI.

I've been using my #WebBrowsers at work to run Outlook to check my work accounts. In #Floorp, I see the icon for #Copilot. In #Vivaldi though, I don't see it at all.
In my install of #LMDE7 on my mid 2009 13" #MacBookPro the #GRUBMenu isn't loading during #booting, #UpdateManager & #Telegram ain't appearing on the #panel & they should, & the icon for #Floorp (Firefox based) browser after last update is incorrectly showing as Firefox's on the plank. #LMDE #Linux
@floorp-browser.bsky.social For your info I just upgraded the #Flatpak version of #Floorp that's on my laptop to the latest version which is 12.3.1. I'm running #LMDE7 on a mid 2009 #MacBookPro. & since the upgrade the Floorp icon in my plank is reverting to a Firefox icon.

I've had for a while now my mom & I set up on our #LMDE installs on our #MacBookPros with #Floorp ( #Firefox based) as our #WebBrowser. But the other night I added #BraveBrowser ( #Chromium based) as a #BackupWebBrowser for the wee % of web sites that don't render right in Firefox.
