I ordered 12 more buttons for Jack! I gave him his 13th word today: treat! He was using the catnip button to either mean catnip or treat, so now he can differentiate between them.
The moment it was in the hex tile, he ran over to press it! I can't wait to see what's next! 😻

Black, tan, white, and grey foam hexagons that hold pet speech buttons are arranged on the floor. Printed on them is the name FluentPet and their logo: a paw print in a speech bubble. A large, yellow button sits alone on the black hexagon and has “SCRITCHES” written on a white label. The SCRITCHES button is not an official FluentPet button. 11 smaller, white FluentPet buttons are inserted into slots meant for them in other foam hexagons in the background.
Found out WA Center for Bleeding Disorders offers us wonky blood havers free therapy. Yes please! On the phone for intake, Fidget kept spamming “scritches” because I was ignoring him. Finally had to tell the admin it was my cat, not a toddler, and yes this is partly why I need therapy 😅 #FluentPet
She definitely knows what she's asking for. Brush? Present butt. Treat? Sit by the chair in anticipation. Chase? Post up by the bedroom door. And she always moves before I do - it's not a Clever Hans situation.
Wish I could get River to use them too, but she'd rather just yell at me.
