Two red and white fly agaric fungi amongst pine needles
Lots of fly agaric fungi fruiting bodies in our local woods last weekend. This seems quite early for them but could have been prompted by an exceptionally dry spring and summer followed by a short spell of rain making them think it's now or never, perhaps?

A photo in an autumnal mood with a big fly agaric in the left foreground and a smaller one in the right background. Only the front mushroom is in focus and together with the incoming light and the special characteristics of the Meyer-Görlitz lens, the bokeh is rendered with many well visible bokeh circles - increasing the fairy-tale like impression of the photo.
